Our Service -
Breakfast & After School Club
The Minster Schools' Children's Club offers before and after school care for children who attend The Minster Schools.

Breakfast Club

Our staff offer a variety of healthy breakfast options including cereals, toast and fruit. Children eat and socialise with their friends and the adults.

After breakfast, we offer a wide variety of activities including board games, arts and crafts, team games, construction, small world toys and books. Each week's activities are planned around the children's interests.

At the end of the session, the Infant Club staff ensure that the children settle into their classrooms. The Junior School children are signed out from the session and make their way to their class teachers.

Breakfast club opens at 7.45am and costs £5.00 per session, per child.
After School Club

The Infant After School Club takes place in The Nest; a beautiful purpose-built setting on the school site. The large playroom is zoned into areas for creative activities, construction, a home corner, role play area and reading corner. We also have use of The Nest's enclosed garden for outdoor play and gardening activities.

The Junior After School Club is based in the dining hall where children can choose to take part in art activities, play board games, enjoy a book or complete homework. The Junior School assembly hall is perfect for large group games, sports, dancing and film nights and the school's extensive playground facilities, including the nature trail, are available year-round.

Once the children have arrived at their Club, they may take part in activities which are already set out for them, or choose toys from our extensive collection. Children may help themselves to a drink and a selection of fresh fruit.

We offer a light tea, from a carefully-selected menu which adheres to the School Food Standards. All of our menu choices are designed to be both healthy and appetising.

After school club closes at 6.15pm and costs £15.00 per session, per child.
